MUSIC LESSONS FOR KIDS!
My Lessons Are:
Connection-based – Playing duets together is more than a fun way to connect, it builds strong rhythm and teaches how to play with another musician.
Process-oriented – Focusing on the process (not just the end goal) takes the pressure off performance and lets us enjoy the journey of making music.
Fun! – We’ll explore the world of music through engaging activities like improvisation, creative games, and listening exercises.
Relationship-Building – I take the time to get to know each student because learning is way more fun when you’re on the journey with a friend!
I Also Teach Kids at:
Ethos Music Center - I teach piano, guitar and bass at Ethos, a nonprofit dedicated to providing music education to underserved youth.
SUN After School Program - I lead a keyboard class for 3rd-5th graders, focused on exploring the sounds available on the keyboard and learning melodies from popular songs.
Happy Valley Arts Academy - I teach private lessons in piano, guitar, bass, and drums to kids ages 5 and up.
I’ve Also Worked at: School of Rock Portland and Youth Music Project, a non-profit in West Linn.
